April became an associate pastor for FMC Midlothian in July 2017. Passionate about serving the local community, she specializes in equipping church members to identify the needs of the local community and facilitates the development of programs to address those needs. As of January 2020, she became responsible for human resource management for the church as the Executive Pastor. She has been a pastor in the United Methodist church since 2014.
April is married to Damon Fehler, a local attorney, and has two sons, Ian and Drew. As a family, they enjoy raising chickens, participating in Scouts, performing in high school musicals, participating in Civil Air Patrol and flying gliders at the local glider port. The Fehlers have been residents of Midlothian since 2006.
