Baptism is a sacred act of God’s grace, a visible sign of an inward transformation. It marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith and discipleship in Jesus Christ.
We believe that baptism is a one-time sacrament that does not need to be repeated. However, if you’d like to reaffirm your baptism and renew your commitment to Christ, we offer Remembrance of Baptism services.
We are all called to serve the Lord and one another in Christ. But sometimes we just don’t know where to start. If you are interested in serving in the church, whether in an ongoing ministry, an upcoming event or even a new ministry idea, let us know!
Ministry Safe certification is a requirement of our children and youth volunteers, to enable our Children’s/Student Ministries to carry out ministry activities with children and/or youth (students) while safeguarding program participants against emotional, physical or sexual abuse.
As a volunteer there are a few steps we need you to take in order to continue working with our children/youth here at First Church. Even our most active and faithful, long-term volunteers, staff and even the pastors are required to fulfill this obligation for the safety of our children.
